The Tefft Hill Farm Subdivision was established in 1989 on the historic Tefft family farm. The Homeowners’ Association is governed by By-laws which help preserve the beauty and value of our wonderful neighborhood.

 

In order to keep our neighborhood looking great and running smooth, several of our homeowners must volunteer to govern the Association.  Three Directors are elected to vote on matters of finance and policy. One Director is elected every year at the annual meeting who serves a three year alternating term. Directors appoint Officers who advise the Board on all matters, manage the Association, and implement policies. The Covenants Committee act on By-law and covenant issues. The Architectural Review Board (ARB) reviews plans for lot improvements. The Landscape Committee manages the open space areas and proposes improvements.  The Welcome Committee keeps track of our new neighbors and arrange a welcome event.  Other committees are formed as required.

 

Homeowners are encouraged to attend meetings to add to the discussions regarding association business and positive improvements to Tefft Hill. At the annual meeting, homeowners elect one Director to a three year term, approve an annual budget, and vote on special items that may be presented. Our budget, in large part, includes the cost of maintaining our lovely open space.  A landscaping contractor is hired by the Association to maintain the common areas (103 acres) throughout the neighborhood. There are several landscaping and lawn areas that must be maintained throughout the year along the publicly owned roadways of Tefft Hill. Other expenses include, but are not limited to, insurance, taxes, and common area improvements. Given the volunteer leadership efforts of your Board, Officers and Committee members, Tefft Hill has a very low and very affordable annual dues assessment. Your volunteer leadership practice prudent fiscal management to ensure a healthy association.
