Present: Richard Kasper, Bill Boardman, Karen DeBoer, Tracy Telford, Phil Telford, Kevin Pincins, Audrey Pincins, Sarah Kirwin, Shawn Hyland, Nick Donadio from Park Place Landscape, Inc.
Architectural Review Board Business
None
Landscaping Business
Park Place Landscaping was present to discuss billing practices and work to be completed. Nick from Park Place stated he would give a written estimate before work above the maintenance contract is completed.
Park place will forward a list of services offered for residents to be included in future newsletters. Examples include mulching and fall cleanup.
The Park Place contract expires at the end of the year.
The Board will send a letter to Park Place to address work performed without a written estimate and the replacement of whiskey barrels.
At the end of October, the meadow will be mowed.
There was a complaint of hornets in the open space; R. Kasper will address the hornet situation.
Covenants
A written complaint was submitted regarding the storage of commercial vehicles. A letter will be submitted to the homeowners in violation. This letter will include the reference to the covenants and will ask for a plan for remediation within thirty days.
New Business
A. Pincins will contact the Tefft HOA site Webmaster to make changes to the homepage, to update years and board members. Steve the Webmaster will be invited to the next meeting if possible.
Questions were asked about the Tefft Hill Facebook page, and who is the administrator of that site.
The first HOA newsletter was sent in the mail and via email. There was a positive reception for the idea of a newsletter. Questions were raised regarding the intent, ground rules and liabilities of a community letter. There were also questions regarding the schedule of the newsletter, i.e. quarterly?
The board would like to invite the person who wrote the newsletter to attend to the next meeting to discuss the newsletter further.
The next meeting is 7:00 pm on Tuesday, 11/15/16 at 200 Chestnut Hill Rd.
