5/17/16 Board Meeting
Present: Richard Kasper, Bill Boardman, Karen DeBoer, Tracy Telford, Phil Telford, Kevin Pincins, Sarah Kirwin, Briana and Pat Casey
Treasure’s Report
5 homeowners have not paid annual dues, notices were sent.
T. Telford clarified how budget interest worked to a homeowner who had a question.
R. Kasper will respond to a letter to the board regarding homeowner’s dues.
Architectural Review Board Business
The owners of 609 Chestnut Hill Rd were present for their fence proposal. Photos were submitted and the proposed fence was approved after materials were confirmed by the ARB. A company will be installing the fence.
Landscaping Business
Mike’s Tree Service still has work to complete for current stump removal contract.
Park Place Landscaping needs to return 2 water bags. They also owe barrels or replacement plantings instead of barrels. K. Pincins stated A. Pincins would email regarding the status of the barrels and water bags. She will inquire about either plantings or a credit for these items.
G. Kirwin was given permission to restore the cleared area between 200 Chestnut Hill and 238 Chestnut Hill with native plants such as Russian Olive Bushes.
Phase 1 of the North Entrance plantings is complete. The Pincins have been watering the plantings. A neighbor has authorized use of their water, and extension hoses are run to the site. $7000.00 was paid to Golden Root Gardening for soil, plantings and labor.
New Business
A suggestion was made to host phase 2 of the North Entrance plantings as a community event. This would get more neighbors involved and save money on labor.
Community events seem to be encouraged by posting signs in the neighborhood. The Halloween parade and recent meeting attendance was evidence of this.
R. Kasper will put a community “pre-yard sale” sign to encourage neighbors to prepare for the upcoming community yard sale on 6/4/16.
A. Pincins will contact the Tefft HOA site Webmaster to make changes to the homepage, to update years and board members.
